FAQs BOUDOIR SESSIONS

What is Boudoir?

Pronounced {bŏo-dwăawr} comes from late 18th century French word and is translated as – a woman’s bedroom or a private sitting room. Boudoir photography, therefore, usually takes place in a setting such as a bedroom or a hotel room… an intimate setting to create classy images that can be soft, romantic, sexy, sensual or naughty. The main focus of a boudoir photographer is to capture you in the most flattering way by guiding you through the poses that compliment your body type.  Source-http://fedali.wordpress.com/

Will you show my pictures to anyone?

Of course not! All pictures from boudoir sessions or pin-up sessions are sent to a private password protected gallery that only you (and whoever you trust with the password) may see. I can easily unlock it if you want to show the world how beautiful you are! Of course I would love to put you in my portfolio, but all images will be approved by you first. If you are not comfortable with any of the images being public, we do not use them. All images on my website or advertising have full permission from the women.

Do I have to get naked?!?!

NO WAY! It is my job to make you feel as comfortable as possible during this session. You can wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable in! There are also ways of doing "implied" nudes, which means you cover up with legs, hands, sheets, etc. in strategic ways!

What do I wear/What do I bring?

Wear: Lingerie is usually the best option, but a bra and panties can also be as sexy as expensive lingerie. This part is completely up to you and how comfortable you are in what you wear. Other great options are anything your significant other are into, instruments, oversized clothes of his, sporting items, even a simple tie!   Bring: Outfits, The more the merrier. We always want more options than too few. You can bring your own hair and make-up to do touchups. If you chose to have the make-up and hair stylist there we will send you a survey to better know what you should bring (usually only includes bringing own foundation for face, or any other personal favorite items like your favorite mascara, etc.)

Other than that, it will be completely up to you! You can be simple and classy or get creative and bring all sorts of props! Whatever you do in your time, is YOUR choice! :)

Can I get my hair and make-up done professionally on set?

Of course! We have a few friends who are highly recommended hair stylists and make-up artists!

Prices and Availability varies.

Can you photoshop me thinner?!

I get asked this SO many times! I always will retouch fly away hairs, blemishes, etc. but you will be surprised what a little posing practice and good lighting can do for a woman!  I will do everything I can to make you LOVE them! :)
